It may seem like such as simple pleasure but I absolutely LOVE COFFEE AND TOAST! In fact, it’s now a part of my Marvelous Monday routine to help bring some happiness to my day. It may seem silly, but these little treats can help set you up for an amazing day. Plus eating breakfast is important to your health!

Of course, you can make a healthy version of toast with multigrain bread, nut butter, etc. The great thing about toast and coffee is it’s super quick to make, but there are plenty of ways to pizzazz it up too!

5 Yummy Ideas For Coffee And Toast

Check out these ideas to make your morning toast and coffee even more delicious!

  1. Apple Butter Toast and Cinnamon Coffee

Some people only think about apple butter around Fall time, but it’s such a tasty treat for your morning toast. This is an easy way to spice up your coffee and toast breakfast that packs a ton of flavor. You can buy apple butter or even make your own at home!

If you’ve never had it before it is a must-try. Apple butter has a buttery warm cinnamon flavor. Try adding some cinnamon to your coffee to compliment your apple butter toast or treat yourself to a cup of Java Momma’s Apple Dumpling coffee!

2. Pesto Toast and Medium Roast Coffee

If you’re craving a more salty, flavorful breakfast, then you have to try pesto toast! Pesto has a creamy texture with garlic and basil flavors with an earthy olive oil finish. You can just spread it on your toast and pair it with a smooth medium roast coffee for a quick yet flavorful breakfast.

3. Mediterranean Toast and Espresso

Treat yourself to a delectable breakfast of Mediterranean toast. This is one of my favorite coffee and toast breakfasts that is rich in flavor but still simple to make. Ricotta cheese will be the spread of choice; then, it’s topped with raspberries, blackberries, and mint leaves. Then you drizzle honey over it for a savory-sweet finish!

YUM! I warm mine up just a bit in the microwave and it really makes the flavors pop.

If you have an espresso machine, it’s a great pairing with this toast, or you can get espresso whole bean coffee from Java Momma!

4. Nutella with Chocolate Drizzle Toast and Hazlenut Coffee

This toast and coffee combination will have your mouth watering before you even take a bite! Spread some tasty Nutella on your toast first and melt chocolate chips to top it off with a heavenly chocolate drizzle. Pair it with a hazelnut coffee to accent the Nutella for maximum satisfaction.

5. Cream Cheese with Smoked Salmon and Dark Roast Coffee

I had a version of this on a cruise ship years ago, and it’s still one of my top picks for a savory breakfast. You can spice up your cream cheese with some garlic salt, then top it off with a slice of smoked salmon. If you’re feeling really fancy, you can even accent it with some pungent capers.

This pairs well with a bold dark roast coffee like Java Mommas Columbian Dark Brew.
